With more than 180 exhibitors from all segments of apparel manufacturing and trims, the 27th edition of Garment Technology Expo (GTE), Bangalore concluded on Monday with lot of positivity in and around Bangalore’s garment industry. Along with most of the top exporters, many domestic retail giants, brands and start ups visited the show, discussed about the latest technology indicating that expansion or upgradation plans are on the block for the apparel manufacturing industry.
The companies who are expanding or recently expanded, include names like Texport Syndicates, Gokaldas Exports, Himatsingka Linens, Amber Home and many more from domestic market. Apart from these companies, teams from Shahi Exports, Arvind Ltd., Aquarelle, Cotton Blossom, Puma India, Stars Design, E-Land Apparels Bloomcraft, Amber Home also visited the show. Besides Karnataka, visitors from different apparel manufacturing hubs of India attended the do.
Visitors were happy with the technologies on display as they were able to find what they were looking for. Some of the buying houses of Bangalore also visited the show as they were keen to know about the latest machines and technology. Manu Menon, Regional Head (QA) Reliance Trends shared that some of the machines were really interesting in the show.
Technology got great response all through the event. Be it Brother’s IoT technology or Duerkopp Adler’s new launch 755S Speed Pocket automated machine, the offerings got overwhelming response from the industry.
