Flipkart, the e-commerce giant, is all set to begin its another edition of Big Shopping Days sale in India from today.
The sale, which will go live at 12 pm on 15 July, will continue till 18 July. Flipkart Plus members will be granted early access to the sale at 8 am, earlier that day.
Notably, the sale starts on the same day as rival Amazon’s two-day-long Prime Day sale.
As part of the sale, Flipkart will give 10 per cent instant discount on all purchases made with SBI Bank credit cards. Buyers can avail up to 75 per cent discount on TVs and appliances and up to 80 per cent off on electronics and accessories.
Smartphones will be available at very low prices under the ‘never before discounts’ scheme during the sale days.
Additionally, buyers can purchase the Complete Mobile Protection plan starting at Rs. 99. There will be exchange discounts as well.
In the fashion category, shoes will see up to 40 to 80 per cent off, watches and bags will be listed at up to 80 per cent off, shirts and jeans category will see up to 50-80 per cent off, and handbags will be priced under Rs. 999 during the Flipkart Big Shopping Days Sale.
Other gadgets including laptops, speakers, power banks and mobile chargers along with mobile covers will also be available at discounts and offers.
Flipkart has also launched a co-branded credit card in partnership with Axis Bank and Mastercard. The company plans to issue 1 million credit cards by mid-2020. Flipkart already has features like ‘Buy now, Pay later’, and the credit card will be an addition in attracting new users and retaining the 100 million new internet users to the platform.
Other partner merchants offering cash backs and discounts for this card include MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Uber, PVR, Gaana, Curefit and UrbanClap.
The joining and annual fee is priced at Rs. 500.
