The 12th edition of India Couture Week (ICW) begins on 22 July and will last till 28 July. Notably, the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) is responsible for managing and conducting the whole event in the national capital of Delhi.
ICW 2019 will be held at Taj Palace, Delhi.
Ace designer Amit Aggarwal will open the couture week while Gaurav Gupta will present his collection in the grand finale at the closing ceremony.
Indian Fashion designers Amit Aggarwal, Falguni & Shane Peacock, Gaurav Gupta, Pankaj & Nidhi, Rahul Mishra, Reynu Taandon, Shyamal & Bhumika, Sulakshana Monga, Suneet Varma and Tarun Tahiliani will be showcasing the best of their collections at the show.
Avant-garde with Indian touch is expected in this extravagant fashion event.
“This year, we want to make it bigger in terms of innovation and also give designers who haven’t shown in this category before the proverbial opportunity, widening the choice of offerings for their discerning clientele,” Sethi said in a statement.
