Apparel Made-Ups & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council (AMHSSC) and India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), Delhi have joined hands for training activities.
And with this regard, a sewing machine operator training centre was recently inaugurated in Noida under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
AMHSSC informed that the objective of the centre is to impart training to the women living in the slums of Noida.
During the occasion, Dr. Roopak Vasishtha, CEO & DG, AMHSSC; Subhash Kalia, Manager, ITPO; DM Sharma, Chief Financial Advisor, ITPO and other dignitaries were present. The council will assess and certify the candidates through this joint initiative.
Dr. Roopak appreciated and thanked all concerned in organising such a nice programme for women in slums of Noida. “With the help of ITPO ‘CSR Initiative’, the women candidates living in the slums of Noida would, in particular, get immensely benefitted and would get employed,” he said.
He also mentioned about the enthusiasm that has come into the skilling ecosystem and assured the participants of the fullest support of the AMHSSC in their noble efforts.
“This training centre has been started to make the youth, especially women, skilled. Work will be done to make women more skilled in the future,” shared Subhash Kalia.
